Why do people get really excited over the words “Restrictions may be lifted?” but they go blind and forget to read the rest of the sentence that states “in three or four weeks time.”
People are still grouping themselves in certain areas as I and my wife witnessed such a collection of about 200 people without masks and not keeping to the two metre distancing and I was amazed that someone had been allowed to organise an open market in a very small area and not all the stalls were outside in the open air.
This is the kind of thing that is not protecting our hospitals, the doctors, nurses and carers who are still on the front line trying to keep persons alive. Those people are not thinking of other people, but think it is alright, because it won’t happen to them until it does and not only to them but to other people they have been in contact with, which could be in their own family!
One thing that struck me was when I saw a woman trying to keep her distance at this open market and not wearing a mask, but looking frightened. My only response would be –“You shouldn’t have been there in the first place!”
People are sending messages to the government – I have had my first jab can I break the rules? The answer is NO! Funnily enough a lot of people do not understand that word. I wonder what it is like to have an IQ of zero or is it because they don’t want to listen to reason and can’t wait? Everything will be around when the pandemic is finally over. Better to honour the guidelines, instead of dying through ignorance in thinking that breaking rules is alright for you.
The one thing that sticks in my brain is that people are always jumping the gun and as Matt Hancock re-iterated last night “We are not out of the woods yet” a common enough phrase that is recognised the world over, but the people that it is referring to are not listening to this report because they don’t want to know what they can’t do – they only know what they want to do – the complete opposite. A case of tunnel vision that belongs to the self centred selfish, egotistic idiots that are causing more cases of Covid-19 and that is why there are some areas in the United Kingdom where the Covid-19 cases are rising and for some reason these bull-headed people are not recognising the fact that they started this problem. I think the government should repeat their report in the middle of Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Eastenders, Doctors and Casualty – that might get the attention of the “Don’t want to knows!”
