Sussex Psychy Poet Reveals All

At last poet Laurie Wilkinson’s much requested and awaited sixth book is here. Following the success of his previous books, he once more fearlessly reveals an eclectic range of topics gleaned from curiously scanning our world and human behaviour.

This latest book “Poet Reveals All” (in your world) clearly has a distinctive cover that came about following a decision to change from the previous books titles theme.

The original idea was for Laurie to indicate our world that he was about to reveal behaviours in, with a reminder that we can never see ourselves as others see us. Along the way he was persuaded to pose as if he was revealing all about himself too.

The excellent resulting book cover photos, (by Andrea Hunnisett) also suggest this, whilst a pertinent poem on the back cover, “Revealing Reflections” confirms his message.

Working in psychiatry for nearly 30 years has given Laurie, aka The Psychy Poet, a unique style of poetic reporting, (now heard on National, BBC and local radio stations), that bristles from the heart on real life issues. This approach resonates with everyday people, including poetry newcomers, who are now hooked alongside others appreciating a genuine down to earth style.

Now this latest book sees the author excel again, possibly touching deeper into his readers souls with powerful, emotive verse. From heart tingling romance, humour, awkwardness of intimate moments, to nostalgic reflection and tragedies in life, Laurie tackles it all!

Those lovable and mischievous bears Ted and Beth created by Laurie, are again included with more amusing antics. Thus all in all this wonderful book is packed with something for everybody, whilst the author remains confident of the readers enjoyment as his fantastic journey continues!
