Fundraising event for Eastbourne Lifeboats

RNLI fundraiser and supporter Tina Fennimore held her annual open house and Christmas light display at her home in Westham Drive recently attended by friends neighbours and of course Father Christmas

The RNLI themed lights, featuring the latest Respect the Water campaign, were turned on by Lifeboat Coxswain Mark Sawyer and Father Christmas. Tina’s neighbours Mark and Claire Thomson and Pat Field kept everyone supplied with hot food and roasted chestnuts from the barbeque whilst the crowds were entertained by the Voices Choir. With a large tombola and raffle, tea, cakes and mince pies the event proved to be a huge success with donations (including Gift Aid) standing at £716.14, and still rising, for the benefit of Eastbourne Lifeboats.
