We all remember Hughie Green who used to present Opportunity Knock starting way back in 1943. Now it seems opportunity knocks for the common criminal, especially people known as “The Cybermen” who attack businesses because of their lust for money and power. It is a pity that these common thieves can’t put their brain power to the good of humanity by helping instead of destroying. You can’t really call them clever at what they do, as in a dingy dark back room they started plotting against the world and does the world owe them a living, one would ask? It is almost as bad as two young persons beating up a vulnerable senior citizen and they have to be older because the two young persons couldn’t tackle someone their own size because they might get hurt and that wouldn’t do!
I’m not a Tory, but I can’t really blame the Government for the lateness of the lockdown that everybody seems to latch onto and as we know from experience, everyone tends to pass the buck to someone who is doing their best to contain this Covid-19 pandemic. The amount of deaths that have been recorded I must admit is scandalous, but then I can only blame it on the many who had decided to ignore the Government’s advice and crowded all the beaches and parks after and during this time of curfew and it made me think that people didn’t want this pandemic to cease and furthermore putting those that have to tend to the sick into constant danger!
I, personally have used the internet to purchase certain items that I couldn’t go out to buy in the shops and I must say that some companies under the cover of Amazon and Ebay UK to advertise their products are not delivering the products ordered. It seems that their policies are that you must pay the money before getting the goods which is not usually done. You don’t go into a shop and buy, say for argument sake, a pair of shoes and leave the shop without them. Some of the companies have even upped the price of their products which is unfair, but then we are a captive buyer and they mean to glean out our purses and wallets while this problem lives. When this pandemic is over, those people who advertise their products might be getting the cold shoulder and trading will cease. Personally I will be black listing those companies that have deemed to cheat me!
The aircraft industry who have refused to return their customers money’ are the worse kind of people – the answer to this problem is simple – instead of going abroad whenever this disease comes to an end is to stay at home for your holidays – there are plenty of beauty spots in the United Kingdom to visit, but to make an impact on the aircraft industry, everyone should do this! After all the aircraft industry are surviving on money that they have refused to return to their customers!
