Worthing Library helps readers become writers

Worthing Library continues its popular series of monthly short lunchtime talks on Tuesday next week (December 3)  with author Wendy Hughes.

Wendy is a writer and columnist, and the founder of Worthy Words Workshops, a monthly writing group held at Worthing Library. She is the author of more than 26 books including “Haunted Worthing” and “Shipwrecks of Sussex”. In 2002, Wendy was awarded the NAWG Journalism Award.

Wendy will be talking on “First steps towards becoming a writer”. The talk is aimed at budding writers, and is intended for people to drop in and listen. Spaces are available on a first-come first served basis.  This replaces the advertised talk by Stella Whitelaw, who will appear in the lunchtime series next year.

Worthing Library is in Richmond Road, Worthing BN11 1HD, telephone 01903 704809. The 40-minute talk starts at ten minutes past midday.
